AGM's SUMMER SALE will open on July 9
at 3:00 PM US Central Time

Remember: to give everybody the best possible chance, we do not sell anything before the catalog opens.  In fact, we remain closed to phone traffic and emails on opening day until the exact moment that the new catalog opens.

So, if it is 3:00 pm in Missouri.. what time is that where you live?
Follow along on the AGM home page countdown clock.

The SUMMER SALE opens Wednesday July 9 at 3:00 pm US central time.

Wow - it has been a minute since we did one of these special sales!! Those of you who have been with us for some time will recall that these are the sales where we sell items at prices that are strategically set to make customers very happy and send items flying out of the door. Many items will be either at or below our original cost. If something has been hanging out in the shop for a while.. well, this isn't a museum - it needs to find a home in someone's collection. Though AGM will normally either break even or lose a few $$ on each of these sales, they help us to recover shelf space, raise capital for other ventures, all while putting smiles on the faces of you guys and gals - the folks who make it possible for us to do what we do. We sincerely appreciate you!

Zelle We are also pleased to have added a new payment option for your catalog purchases: Zelle.  If you are not familiar with this, check your bank's website.  Most US banks now offer Zelle as a way to quickly and easily make or receive payments at no cost.
There is usually a daily spending limit; these vary from bank to bank, and in most cases a quick conversation with your branch manager can get them adjusted to suit your collecting needs.  To pay for an invoice here, just log in to your bank's website, select the Zelle option, and send to our business account which is linked by the email agm6@advanceguardmilitaria.com.  If you would, please put your invoice number in the notes section.

 Bannerman Auction NEWS
I am pleased to say that we are wrapping up software and website development, and the new Bannerman Auctions venture will begin sales of militaria, antiques, and collectables starting in September, to include a large WWI sale planned for November 11.   bannerman_logo_white_small
AGM will continue to exist, as it is certain that there are always going to be clients who wish to sell their collection (or individual items) directly, and do not wish to go the auction route.  However, I have discovered that the transparency and ease of an auction paradigm simplifies operations to a great extent, and opens up the availability of a number of collections that would otherwise have gone elsewhere.  For more details about this change and what it means for both AGM and you, click here.

In the meantime, here at AGM / Bannerman HQ, we need space!  It is great to have this steady flow of collections coming in, but we are rapidly running out of shelf space and room to work.  We haven't done one of these special sales in quite some time.  If you are new to AGM, here is what you can expect: the items are displayed with their original retail price in black text, and the discounted sale price in red.  Most are marked either at or below (sometimes well below) our original dealer cost, so these are going to be happy bargains for collectors, and a stock-up opportunity for our friends in the trade.
