First Timer's Guide to the Show:
How does it work?
Pretty simple, actually. There will be a new show every week, except for the 4 weeks per year when a new AGM Catalog is opening. The show is filled with items for sale by collectors and other AGM customers such as yourself. |
There are two large buttons on the front of the AGM home page. The one on the left leads to the AGM catalog. The one on the right leads to the current Online Militaria Show.
Just like the AGM catalog, when a new show is about to open, there will be a countdown clock running below the button. |
The button leads to the entrance lobby for the show. The two entrances are blocked by countdowns, which disappear when the show is open.
If you are an Insider member, you can enter at 3:00 pm through the Members & Sellers Entrance.
If you are not an Insider member, you will use the General Public Entrance, which opens at 4:00 pm.
During the first month of shows, AGM has made all registered users on the website Insiders for FREE. These free memberships expire in June. If you like what you see, you can extend your Insider membership on the subscriptions page. |
When the show has opened and you enter, you will find a gallery listing of items. You can use the toolbar on your left to search or sort the listings. When you find a seller that you like, you can also click a link on the sale page to view items from that seller only. (Helpful if you want to combine postage for multiple purchases.)
When you click on an item, you will find photos, an item description, price, and information about the seller. You will also see where the seller will (or will not) ship items, read his return policy, shipping options, and payment options. If you wish to purchase the item, click "buy now." It is then marked "SOLD!" on the website, and an email is sent to you and the seller with contact information for both parties. You conclude the transaction among yourselves. |
We anticipate very few disputes or problems, since we have some of the best customers in the world, and applications for seller tables are screened by the show committee before a table is sold. However, in the event that problems do arise, the show committee will act as arbiters to settle the issue. (See the Show Rules page linked on all sale pages and at the show lobby.) |
If you have good quality original militaria to sell yourself, and are interested in selling here also - apply for a seller's table on your subscription page. |
The show lasts from Monday until Friday. Items that the sellers list during the week appear on the next upcoming show.
We look forward to having you at the show! |
